Greetings, Parents and Guardians!
We are so excited to welcome you and your child to a brand-new school year at William Fox Elementary School! Please mark your calendars for our upcoming Open House & Drop-Off Night! This will be a wonderful opportunity for you and your student to visit the classroom, meet the teacher, and drop off school supplies before the first day of school. Sneak Peek Ahead: Please keep in mind that our wonderful staff will still be in the process of setting up and organizing their learning spaces for the new year. Open House is an informal "sneak peek," while the rooms are still mid-setup. Our teachers can't wait to connect with you and your student!

• Format: Drop-in / Drop-out (Feel free to stop by anytime during this window that fits your schedule!)

🧸 Kindergarten Orientation Format

For our Kindergarten families, orientation during the drop-in window will follow a simple format:

• Direct to Classroom: If you have already received your student’s room assignment by open house, you may proceed straight to their assigned classroom upon arrival!
• Classroom Walkthrough & Supply Drop-Off: Meet the teacher, explore the room, find your child's space, and unpack school supplies.
• Brief Teacher Overview: A quick overview of daily routines, arrival/dismissal procedures, and classroom expectations.
• Resources & School Staff Interactions: You will receive helpful resources and handouts, with opportunities to engage with our instructional coaches, school nurse, PTA president, and administration as they rotate throughout the event.
• Q&A & First-Week Check: Time to ask questions, sign up for the FOX PTA, and double-check dismissal plans.

📦 Important Note Regarding Class Assignments & Packets

Please note that official class assignments, supply lists, and welcome packets will be mailed out within the next week. Our team is currently transitioning to and familiarizing ourselves with PowerSchool, our new district system. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this new program to ensure everything is set up accurately for your students. We look forward to meeting you all and getting this school year off to a fantastic start!
